CALENDAR OF EVENTS

For Incoming 9^th Graders

JANUARY 31st, 2008

Parents may come to the PVHS counseling office to pick up enrollment packets, and sign up for shadow day.

Open House for Incoming 9^th Graders at PVHS:

1. 5:45 pm to 6:20 pm Athletes Meeting in the MPR
2. 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm General Meeting in the Gym
3. 7:10 pm to 8:35 pm Four 15 min sessions to hear presentations on academics, arts and future curricular activities.

FEBRUARY 12^{TH, 2008}

PVHS Shadow day for students attending schools outside of the district, but reside in PVPUSD and are interested in enrolling in PVHS. 

Must sign up with Kristen Huber, Activities Director  by emailing her at clementk@pvpusd.k12.ca.us  with student name, address, phone number, email and current school by February 8^th.

Students who have RSVP’d will be the only students accommodated for Shadow Day.

FEBRUARY 22^nd

District commitment forms are due to the district

MARCH 18^th, 19^th, 20^th, 2008

Incoming 9^th grade Parent Orientation for students that have committed to our school.  Parents must sign up by emailing Diane Astiazaran at astiazarand@pvpusd.k12.ca.us.

You will be meeting with Counselors to:  

1. review timeline of scheduling for incoming 9^th graders

2. discussion of courses and prerequisites

3. question and answer session

March 21^st and March 24^th   From 8:00am to 3:00pm

Enrollment days for private school students in the counseling office.  No appointments are taken.  Parents will be meeting with the registrar to enroll their students, after enrollment, students (students only) will meet with their counselor.

AUGUST 26^th, Tuesday

Registration Day.
