Junior Parent Night is held in March each year. The purpose of this evening is to review graduation requirements, college admissions information, testing information, and the letter of recommendation procedures. Counselors will discuss the importance of finding an appropriate college match for the student and topics to consider when developing a college list. Services from the College and Career Center and the Naviance program will also be reviewed. Counselors will discuss in depth the college application process, including types of admission options, eligibility index vs. committee selection, and parts of the application folder. Finally, counselors will also briefly cover other program information such as NCAA requirements, essays and personal statements, and college visits.
