Teri Kuwahara graduated with a B.A. from Cal State Long Beach in History, Secondary Education and a certificate in East Asian Studies, M.S. from the University of Southern California in Library Science and a Certificate with Distinction in College Admission Counseling from UCLA Extension.

This is her third year in the PVHS College & Career Center.  She is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and serves on the Professional Development Committee for the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).  She was recently honored by WACAC with the Steve Hankins New Counselor Award.  Teri loves to travel and has personally toured over 50 colleges in the United States.

Teri has two grown children who graduated from a community college, state college, private California college and private east coast college.  She currently resides in Torrance with her husband.

Teresa Hoffman attended the University of California at Davis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies.  She worked for Ashland, Inc. for several years in marketing and technical support.  Before joining the College and Career Center at PVHS she volunteered extensively with PTSA and Booster Clubs, and recently experienced the college admission process with her eldest child.

This is her second year in the College and Career Center at PVHS.  Teresa focuses on financial aid/scholarships.  She is currently a member of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC).

Teresa and her husband, Larry, have lived on the Palos Verdes Peninsula for over 20 years.  They have two children who have/are attending schools with the PVPUSD.
