Tuition Reduction for Immigrant Students
Spanish Translation  PDF button
On Monday, May 12, 2008 the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce honored Ms. Remeta's Spanish 5 A.P. Class from Palos Verdes High School for their contribution to helping Spanish speaking families and students access college financial aid. As part of the L.A. Cash for College effort, the students helped translate the CA State Assembly Bill 540 Resource Guide to Spanish, assisting many Spanish-speaking families with access to scholarships and financial aid resources to go to college. The guide is being made available to high schools, colleges and community-based organizations throughout the State.
